Lucyna Ratka is a highly skilled Specialist Speech and Language Therapist based in the West Midlands, UK, with a clinical focus on neurorehabilitation, speech sound disorders, autism diagnostics, and neurological speech therapy. Since graduating from Cardiff Metropolitan University in 2021, she has worked extensively with both children and adults, treating a wide range of speech, language, and communication disorders. Lucyna has experience managing complex conditions such as aphasia, dysarthria, traumatic brain injuries, and Parkinson’s disease. Currently, she serves in a neuropsychiatric rehabilitation hospital and leads the Speech and Language Therapy service at AQIDAH, where she adapts global best practices to suit the needs of the Bangladeshi community. In addition to her clinical work, she mentors fellow therapists and plays a key role in ensuring quality and excellence in therapy delivery.

Lucyna specializes in neurorehabilitation, including acute brain injury rehabilitation, speech sound disorders, autism diagnostics, and neurological speech therapy. She has specialized knowledge in treating aphasia, dysarthria, and speech challenges related to Parkinson's disease. Lucyna also has expertise in Parent-Child Interaction Therapy (PCIT) and supports individuals with learning disabilities and complex communication needs. Her work also focuses on supporting individuals with traumatic brain injuries, acquired brain injuries, and neurodegenerative diseases, ensuring evidence-based, patient-centered care.
