 Dr. Fatema Tuj Johora Joti is a dedicated Child and Adolescent Psychiatrist with a focus on self-harm, suicide prevention, and neurodevelopmental disorders. With an MD from BSMMU and current experience as a Registrar at NIMH, she combines evidence-based therapies such as CBT, DBT, and EMDR to provide compassionate care. Passionate about research and mental health advocacy, she works to make quality mental health services accessible to young individuals in Bangladesh.

Area of Expertise

Dr. Joti specializes in child and adolescent psychiatry, with expertise in treating self-harm, suicide prevention, behavioral disorders, and neurodevelopmental disorders. She is trained in Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT), Dialectical Behavior Therapy (DBT), Eye Movement Desensitization and Reprocessing (EMDR), as well as couple counseling and parenting therapy. Her research interests include adolescent self-harm and psychosexual therapy, and she is committed to advancing mental health awareness and education in Bangladesh.
